Solar Market Transformation Conference

Hosted by the Center for Renewable Energy at Illinois State University, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association and Heartland Community College.

This one-day solar conference will be held at the Normal Theater, 209 North Street in Normal, IL as part of the 2010 Illinois Energy Expo at the Marriott Conference Center. This event will bring together a variety of presenters to provide valuable information about our solar resources, technology, economics, marketplace, training capacity and partnerships to an audience of mayors, city planners, council members, and the general public. 

Confirmed presenters include Kate Tomford, Chief Sustainability Policy Advisor in the Illinois Energy Office at IL DCEO, Mayor Chris Koos from Normal, Mayor Larry Morrissey from Rockford, Mark Burger from the Kestrel Development Company, Dave Kennell from the Center for Renewable Energy, Nick Hylla from the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, and Tim Wilhelm from Kankakee Community College.
